Never Trust a, “Faith Healer” Who Wears Glasses.

Many of you know who this man is. For those who don’t, it is Bill Johnson from Bethel, “Church” in Redding California. He is a false teacher. Like many other men of his ilk, he preaches miraculous healing, by claiming it in faith. Of course, when it doesn’t work out for you, it is because there is something qualitatively, or quantitatively wrong with your faith. As you can see, Bill has splinted fingers in this picture, and he has been wearing glasses for a long time. I guess his faith is lacking, otherwise he’d be healed. This is a prime example of hypocritically judging people, and laying on them a burden he, himself cannot carry.

Bill Johnson, false teacher

Just like him, Andrew Wommack had a skin cancer on his face. He went to a Doctor for treatment. He claims he didn’t continue after the diagnosis, but he has a long history of telling lies, (I cite his false teachings as evidence of his long history of telling lies) and doing cover ups. Ask his ex-daughter-in-law, if you can find her. Him, and his family are truly nefarious, if the ex-daughter-in-law can be believed. Every negative thing is scrubbed from the internet. It takes some $$ to get that done.

They all age, and get old. They all die. None of them are exempt. They are all born under the curse of God due to the fall of Adam. Benny Hinn is looking pretty old, and sickly these days as well. In 2015 he had to go to the hospital for a heart problem. I guess he couldn’t faith his way out of it.

So is Jesse Duplantis, and Kenneth Copeland. Ol’ Jesse Duplicitous… He has really gotten older over the years. He can comfort himself in his palatial home. He and Kenny can fly around the world on their private jests, living it up on the lifestyles of the rich and infamous.

I guess there is no fountain of youth for these guys. (except plastic surgery, not that he has had it, but Joyce, the Joker Meyers sure did.)

Joyce Meyer, false teacher

Don’t worry Demon Kenny. I wouldn’t forget about you, you sick, servant of satan. Remember when this deceiver told us he was blowing Covid away?

Kenneth Copeland, false teacher

The only thing Kenny chases is cash. Just like the other false teachers. It boils down to the the three, “P’s” with false teachers, and cults.

  • Power- Power over people, and their lives.
  • Profit-Not to be confused with, “prophet.” These people are all about the money, filthy lucre,
μαμωνᾶς mamōnas; of Ara. or.; wealth:– wealth(4). Matthew 6:24
24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.
  • Promiscuity/Perversion-These people are always committing adultery, molesting children, coercing unwilling people to have sex with them.

Look for those three, “P’s” as a warning. Cults, and false religions are full of people at the chancel preaching lies, and manipulating people to gain the three, “P’s.”

If these people were legitimate, they would be healing all the cancer kids, in the hospitals. They would be living in the means that are reverent of their service to Jesus, not as money grubbing thieves. Mark 12:38-40
38 And in His teaching He was saying: “Beware of the scribes who want to walk around in long robes, and want respectful greetings in the marketplaces, 39 and best seats in the synagogues and places of honor at banquets, 40 who devour widows’ houses, and for appearance’s sake offer long prayers; these will receive greater condemnation.”

Don’t fall into the trap these scoundrels have set for you, and your faith. They are guilty of lying about God, and putting words in His mouth He did not say. They blaspheme the Holy Spirit, by attributing works to Him that are wicked, and He would never do. If you truly want to know God, repent of your sins, and trust Jesus to make you right with God, as there is no other way. Then, read, and study His word. Everything we need to know about God, life, living, and dying of death, are there. The Bible is Jesus’ mind for us to know Him by. It is made understandable, and knowable, by the illumining work of the Holy Spirit, in the believer.

What God Says About Human Pride.

1. The Global Flood, Was God Executing His Just, and Righteous Judgment, Against Sinful Mankind.

2. The Rainbow is the Symbol of His Covenant, to Never Again Destroy the Planet With a Flood.

3. To Use the Rainbow, as a Symbol of Pride, in Regards to Your Perverse Sins, is Blasphemous.

GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.

Proverbs 16:5
5 Everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to Yahweh;
Assuredly, he will not be unpunished.

1. In Genesis, we read that God flooded the world because of how sinfully degenerate mankind had become. God is our Creator. He is the Law Giver, and Judge. He owns us. He has every right to do whatever He pleases with His creation. By breaking His laws, we deserve instant death, and eternal torment in Hell. God chose Noah, and his family. Noah found favor in His sight due to his faith. God provided a way for them to be saved from His just judgment. They must enter into that way of salvation. It was a wooden vessel, covered with pitch. The Hebrew word for pitch is also used to mean atonement. There was only one door, or way into the ark/salvation. Later in the Bible we read about a wooden cross, where Jesus atoned for our sins, and provides the only way of salvation. Jesus is the one, and only way. We must turn from our sins, and forsake them. We must trust in Jesus, the way Noah trusted God, and built an ark. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through Me.

2. The rainbow is a symbol/sign of God’s covenant to never destroy the planet with a flood ever again. This covenant is one sided. It doesn’t depend on fallen mankind. It is from God. There is no way we can satisfy the righteous requirements of God’s laws. This is why God must provide for us. like the rainbow reminds us of God’s mercy, His new covenant in Jesus, provides our only hope for salvation.

Genesis 6:1 – 8:22
1 Now it happened, when men began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them, 2 that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were good in appearance; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose. 3 Then Yahweh said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever because he indeed is flesh; nevertheless his days shall be 120 years.” 4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.
5 Then Yahweh saw that the evil of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And Yahweh regretted that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. 7 And Yahweh said, “I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, from man to animals to creeping things and to birds of the sky; for I regret that I have made them.” 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of Yahweh.
The Generations of Noah
9 These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among those in his generations; Noah walked with God. 10 And Noah became the father of three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
11 Now the earth was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 And God saw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way upon the earth.
13 Then God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of them; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth. 14 Make for yourself an ark of gopher wood; you shall make the ark with rooms, and you shall cover it inside and out with pitch. 15 Now this is how you shall make it: the length of the ark 300 cubits, its breadth 50 cubits, and its height 30 cubits. 16 You shall make a window for the ark, and complete it to one cubit from the top; and set the door of the ark in the side of it; you shall make it with lower, second, and third decks. 17 As for Me, behold I am bringing the flood of water upon the earth, to destroy all flesh in which is the breath of life, from under heaven; everything that is on the earth shall breathe its last. 18 But I will establish My covenant with you; and you shall enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you. 19 And of every living thing of all flesh, you shall bring two of every kind into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female. 20 Of the birds after their kind, and of the animals after their kind, of every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, two of every kind will come to you to keep them alive. 21 As for you, take for yourself some of all food which is edible, and gather it to yourself; and it shall be for food for you and for them.” 22 Thus Noah did; according to all that God had commanded him, so he did.
Noah and the Flood
1 Then Yahweh said to Noah, “Enter the ark, you and all your household, for you alone I have seen to be righteous before Me in this generation. 2 You shall take with you of every clean animal by sevens, a male and his female; and of the animals that are not clean, two, a male and his female; 3 also of the birds of the sky, by sevens, male and female, to keep their seed alive on the face of all the earth. 4 For after seven more days, I will send rain on the earth forty days and forty nights; and I will blot out from the face of the land every living thing that I have made.” 5 And Noah did according to all that Yahweh had commanded him.
6 Now Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of water came upon the earth. 7 Then Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him entered the ark because of the water of the flood. 8 Of clean animals and animals that are not clean and birds and everything that creeps on the ground, 9 by twos they came to Noah into the ark, male and female, as God had commanded Noah. 10 Now it happened after the seven days, that the water of the flood came upon the earth. 11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on this day all the fountains of the great deep split open, and the floodgates of the sky were opened. 12 Then the rain came upon the earth for forty days and forty nights.
13 On this very day Noah and Shem and Ham and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife and the three wives of his sons with them, entered the ark, 14 they and every beast after its kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind—every fowl, every winged creature. 15 So they came to Noah into the ark, by twos of all flesh in which was the breath of life. 16 And those that entered, male and female of all flesh, entered as God had commanded him; and Yahweh closed it behind him.
17 Then the flood came upon the earth for forty days, and the water multiplied and lifted up the ark, so that it rose above the earth. 18 And the water prevailed and multiplied greatly upon the earth, and the ark went on the surface of the water. 19 And the water prevailed more and more upon the earth, so that all the high mountains under all the heavens were covered. 20 The water prevailed fifteen cubits higher, and the mountains were covered. 21 And all flesh that moved on the earth breathed its last, that is birds and cattle and beasts and every swarming thing that swarms upon the earth, as well as all mankind. 22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life—of all that was on the dry land—died. 23 Thus He blotted out every living thing that was upon the face of the land, from man to animals to creeping things and to birds of the sky, and they were blotted out from the earth; and only Noah remained, and those that were with him in the ark. 24 And the water prevailed upon the earth 150 days.
The Water Dries Up
1 Then God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the cattle that were with him in the ark; and God caused a wind to pass over the earth, and the water subsided. 2 Also the fountains of the deep and the floodgates of the sky were closed, and the rain from the sky was restrained; 3 and the water receded from the earth, going forth and returning, and at the end of 150 days the water decreased. 4 In the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, the ark rested upon the mountains of Ararat. 5 Now the water decreased steadily until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains appeared.
6 Then it happened at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made; 7 and he sent out a raven, and it went out flying back and forth until the water was dried up from the earth. 8 Then he sent out a dove from him, to see if the water was abated from the face of the land; 9 but the dove found no resting place for the sole of its foot, so it returned to him into the ark, for the water was on the surface of all the earth. Then he stretched out his hand and took it and brought it into the ark to himself. 10 Then he waited yet another seven days; and again he sent out the dove from the ark. 11 And the dove came to him toward evening, and behold, in its beak was a freshly picked olive leaf. So Noah knew that the water was abated from the earth. 12 Then he waited yet another seven days and sent out the dove; but it did not return to him again.
13 Now it happened in the six hundred and first year, in the first month, on the first of the month, the water was dried up from the earth. Then Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked, and behold, the surface of the ground was dried up. 14 In the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry. 15 Then God spoke to Noah, saying, 16 “Go out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and your sons’ wives with you. 17 Bring out with you every living thing of all flesh that is with you, birds and animals and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, that they may swarm on the earth, and that they may be fruitful and multiply on the earth.” 18 So Noah went out, and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him. 19 Every beast, every creeping thing, and every bird, everything that moves on the earth, went out by their families from the ark.
Yahweh’s Covenant with Noah
20 Then Noah built an altar to Yahweh and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar. 21 And Yahweh smelled the soothing aroma; and Yahweh said to Himself, “I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intent of man’s heart is evil from his youth; and I will never again strike down every living thing as I have done.
22 While all the days of the earth remain,
Seedtime and harvest,
And cold and heat,
And summer and winter,
And day and night
Shall not cease.”Luke 14:11
“For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Matthew 23:12
And whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.

1 Peter 5:5-7
5 You younger men, likewise, be subject to your elders. And all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.
6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, 7 CASTING ALL YOUR ANXIETY ON HIM, because He cares for you.

James 4:1-10
1 What is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is not the source your pleasures that wage war in your members? 2 You lust and do not have, so you murder. You are envious and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures. 4 You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore, whoever wishes to be a friend of the world sets himself as an enemy of God. 5 Or do you think that the Scripture speaks to no purpose: “He jealously desires the Spirit which He has made to dwell in us”? 6 But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.” 7 Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Be miserable and mourn and cry. Let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.

Philippians 2:3-11
3 doing nothing from selfish ambition or vain glory, but with humility of mind regarding one another as more important than yourselves, 4 not merely looking out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. 5 Have this way of thinking in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, although existing in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied Himself, by taking the form of a slave, by being made in the likeness of men. 8 Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 Therefore, God also highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and that EVERY TONGUE WILL CONFESS that Jesus Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father.

Romans 12:3
3 For through the grace given to me I say to each one among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound thinking, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.

Isaiah 57:15
15 For thus says the One high and lifted up
Who dwells forever, whose name is Holy,
“I dwell on a high and holy place,
And also with the crushed and lowly of spirit
In order to revive the spirit of the lowly
And to revive the heart of the crushed.

Isaiah 66:2
2 For My hand made all these things,
Thus all these things came into being,” declares Yahweh.
“But to this one I will look,
To him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word.

Proverbs 3:34
34 Though He scoffs at the scoffers,
Yet He gives grace to the humble.

Proverbs 11:2
2 When arrogance comes, then comes disgrace,
But with the meek is wisdom.

Proverbs 18:12
12 Before destruction the heart of man is haughty,
But humility goes before glory.

Proverbs 22:4
4 The reward of humility—the fear of Yahweh—
Is riches, glory, and life.

Proverbs 29:23
23 A man’s lofty pride will bring him low,
But a lowly spirit will take hold of glory.

Proverbs 21:4
4 Haughty eyes and a proud heart—
The fallow ground of the wicked—are sin.

Psalms 25:9
9 May He lead the humble in justice,
And may He teach the humble His way.

3. Pride in any human work is not a virtue. All human pride is sin. To be proud of sexual immorality is sin. To boast about wickedness, and then rob God of His covenant symbol, and pervert it for your own abominable deeds is blasphemy. God will not hold blameless the one who blasphemes Him.

Here are the 1828 Webster’s definitions of, “blasphemy” and “pride.”

“Blasphemy

BLAS’PHEMY, noun An indignity offered to God by words or writing; reproachful, contemptuous or irreverent words uttered impiously against Jehovah.

Blasphemy is an injury offered to God, by denying that which is due and belonging to him, or attributing to him that which is not agreeable to his nature.

In the middle ages, blasphemy was used to denote simply the blaming or condemning of a person or thing. Among the Greeks, to blaspheme was to use words of ill omen, which they were careful to avoid.

1. That which derogates from the prerogatives of God. Mark 2:1.”

“PRIDE, noun

1. Inordinate self-esteem; an unreasonable conceit of one’s own superiority in talents, beauty, wealth, accomplishments, rank or elevation in office, which manifests itself in lofty airs, distance, reserve, and often in contempt of others.

Martial pride looks down on industry.

PRIDE goeth before destruction. Proverbs 16:18.

PRIDE that dines on vanity, sups on contempt.

All pride is abject and mean.

Those that walk in pride he is able to abase. Daniel 4:37.

2. Insolence; rude treatment of others; insolent exultation.

That hardly we escap’d the pride of France.

3. Generous elation of heart; a noble self-esteem springing from a consciousness of worth.

The honest pride of conscious virtue.

4. Elevation; loftiness.

A falcon tow’ring in her pride of place.

5. Decoration; ornament; beauty displayed.

Whose lofty trees, clad with summer’s pride

Be his this sword

Whose ivory sheath, inwrought with curious pride

Adds graceful terror to the wearer’s side.

6. Splendid show; ostentation.

Is this array, the war of either side

Through Athens pass’d with military pride

7. That of which men are proud; that which excites boasting.

I will cut off the pride of the Philistines. Zechariah 9:6. Zephaniah 3:11.

8. Excitement of the sexual appetite in a female beast.

9. Proud persons. Psalms 36:11.

PRIDE, verb transitive With the reciprocal pronoun, to pride one’s self, to indulge pride; to take pride; to value one’s self; to gratify self-esteem. They pride themselves in their wealth, dress or equipage. He prides himself in his achievements.”

I’d like you to also consider some synonyms to the word, “pride.”

1. “1. Pride, conceit, self-esteem, egotism, vanity, vainglory imply an unduly favorable idea of one’s own appearance, advantages, achievements, etc., and often apply to offensive characteristics. Pride is a lofty and often arrogant assumption of superiority in some respect: Pride must have a fall. Conceit implies an exaggerated estimate of one’s own abilities or attainments, together with pride: blinded by conceit. Self-esteem may imply an estimate of oneself that is higher than that held by others: a ridiculous self-esteem. Egotism implies an excessive preoccupation with oneself or with one’s own concerns, usually but not always accompanied by pride or conceit: His egotism blinded him to others’ difficulties. Vanity implies self-admiration and an excessive desire to be admired by others: His vanity was easily flattered. Vainglory, somewhat literary, implies an inordinate and therefore empty or unjustified pride: puffed up by vainglory.”

Leviticus 26:14-46
Reject His Statutes and He Will Strike You
14 ‘But if you do not obey Me and do not do all these commandments, 15 if, instead, you reject My statutes, and if your soul loathes My judgments so as not to do all My commandments and so break My covenant, 16 I, in turn, will do this to you: I will appoint over you a sudden terror, consumption and fever that will waste away the eyes and cause the soul to pine away; also, you will sow your seed uselessly, for your enemies will eat it up. 17 And I will set My face against you so that you will be defeated before your enemies; and those who hate you will have dominion over you, and you will flee when no one is pursuing you. 18 If also after these things you do not obey Me, then I will discipline you seven times more for your sins. 19 I will also break down your pride of strength; I will also give your sky over to become like iron and your earth like bronze. 20 And your power will be spent uselessly, for your land will not give forth its produce and the trees of the land will not give forth their fruit.
21 ‘If then, you walk in hostility against Me and are unwilling to obey Me, I will increase the plague on you seven times according to your sins. 22 And I will send out among you the beasts of the field, which will bereave you of your children and cut down your cattle and reduce your number so that your roads lie desolate.
23 ‘And if by these things you do not accept My discipline, but walk in hostility against Me, 24 then I will walk in hostility against you; and I, even I, will strike you seven times for your sins. 25 I will also bring upon you a sword which will execute vengeance for the covenant; and when you gather together into your cities, I will send pestilence among you so that you shall be given over into enemy hands. 26 When I break your staff of bread, ten women will bake your bread in one oven, and they will bring back your bread by rationed weight so that you will eat and not become full.
27 ‘Yet, if in spite of this you do not obey Me, but walk in hostility against Me, 28 then I will walk in wrathful hostility against you, and I, even I, will discipline you seven times for your sins. 29 Further, you will eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters you will eat. 30 I then will destroy your high places and cut down your incense altars and give your corpses to lie on the corpses of your idols, for My soul shall loathe you. 31 And I will give your cities over as a waste and will make your sanctuaries desolate, and I will not smell your soothing aromas. 32 And I will make the land desolate, so that your enemies who inhabit it will themselves feel desolate because of it. 33 You, however, I will scatter among the nations and will draw out a sword after you, as your land becomes desolate and your cities become waste.
34 ‘Then the land will make up for its sabbaths all the days of the desolation, and you will be in your enemies’ land; then the land will rest and make up for its sabbaths. 35 All the days of its desolation it will observe the rest which it did not observe on your sabbaths, while you were living on it. 36 As for those of you who may remain, I will also bring weakness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies. And the sound of a driven leaf will pursue them, and even when no one is pursuing they will flee as though from the sword, and they will fall. 37 They will therefore stumble over each other as if running from the sword, although no one is pursuing; and you will have no strength to stand up before your enemies. 38 But you will perish among the nations, and your enemies’ land will consume you. 39 So those of you who may remain will rot away in their iniquity in the lands of your enemies; and also in the iniquities of their fathers they will rot away with them.
40 ‘If they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, in their unfaithfulness which they committed against Me, and also how they walked in hostility against Me— 41 I also was walking in hostility against them, to bring them into the land of their enemies—or if their uncircumcised heart becomes humbled so that they then make up for their iniquity, 42 then I will remember My covenant with Jacob, and I will remember also My covenant with Isaac and My covenant with Abraham as well, and I will remember the land. 43 For the land will be forsaken by them and will make up for its sabbaths while it is made desolate without them. They, meanwhile, will be making up for their iniquity because they rejected My judgments and their soul loathed My statutes. 44 Yet in spite of this, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, nor will I so loathe them as to bring an end to them, breaking My covenant with them; for I am Yahweh their God. 45 But I will remember for them the covenant with their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God. I am Yahweh.’”
46 These are the statutes and judgments and laws which Yahweh has given to be between Himself and the sons of Israel by the hand of Moses at Mount Sinai.

2 Chronicles 26:16-23
16 But when he became strong, his heart was so proud that he acted corruptly, and he was unfaithful to Yahweh his God. And he entered the temple of Yahweh to burn incense on the altar of incense. 17 Then Azariah the priest entered after him and with him eighty priests of Yahweh, men of valor. 18 And they stood against Uzziah the king and said to him, “It is not for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to Yahweh, but for the priests, the sons of Aaron who are set apart as holy to burn incense. Get out of the sanctuary, for you have been unfaithful and will have no honor from Yahweh God.” 19 But Uzziah, with a censer in his hand for burning incense, was enraged; and while he was enraged with the priests, the leprosy broke out on his forehead before the priests in the house of Yahweh, beside the altar of incense. 20 And Azariah the chief priest and all the priests looked at him, and behold, he was leprous on his forehead; and they hurried him out of there, and he himself also hastened to get out because Yahweh had smitten him. 21 So King Uzziah was a leper to the day of his death; and he lived in a separate house, being a leper, for he was cut off from the house of Yahweh. And Jotham his son was over the king’s house, judging the people of the land.
22 Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah, first to last, the prophet Isaiah, the son of Amoz, has written. 23 So Uzziah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the field of the grave which belonged to the kings, for they said, “He is a leper.” And Jotham his son became king in his place.

Psalms 10:1-3
1 Why do You stand afar off, O Yahweh?
Why do You hide Yourself in times of distress?
2 In his lofty pride the wicked hotly pursues the afflicted;
Let them be caught in the thoughts which they have devised.
3 For the wicked boasts of his soul’s desire,
And the greedy man curses and spurns Yahweh.

Psalms 31:17-19
17 O Yahweh, let me not be put to shame, for I call upon You;
Let the wicked be put to shame, let them be silent in Sheol.
18 Let the lying lips be mute,
Which speak arrogantly against the righteous
With lofty pride and contempt.
19 How great is Your goodness,
Which You have stored up for those who fear You,
Which You have worked for those who take refuge in You,
Before the sons of men!

Psalms 31:23-24
23 Oh, love Yahweh, all you His holy ones!
Yahweh guards the faithful
But repays fully the one who acts in lofty pride.
24 Be strong and let your heart take courage,
All you who wait for Yahweh.

Psalms 36:10-12
10 Continue Your lovingkindness to those who know You,
And Your righteousness to the upright in heart.
11 Let not the foot of pride come upon me,
And let not the hand of the ungodly drive me away.
12 There the workers of wickedness have fallen;
They have been thrust down and cannot rise.

Psalms 59:12-13
12 On account of the sin of their mouth and the word of their lips,
Let them even be caught in their pride,
And on account of curses and lies which they utter.
13 Destroy them in wrath, destroy them that they may be no more;
That men may know that God rules in Jacob
To the ends of the earth. Selah.

Psalms 75:4-5
4 I said to the boastful, ‘Do not boast,’
And to the wicked, ‘Do not raise up the horn;
5 Do not raise up your horn on high,
Nor speak with insolent pride.’”

Proverbs 8:13
13 The fear of Yahweh is to hate evil;
Pride and arrogance and the evil way
And the mouth of perverted words, I hate.

Proverbs 14:3
3 In the mouth of the ignorant fool is a rod of lofty pride,
But the lips of the wise will keep them.

Proverbs 16:17-19
17 The highway of the upright is to turn away from evil;
He who guards his way keeps his soul.
18 Pride goes before destruction,
And a haughty spirit before stumbling.
19 It is better to be humble in spirit with the lowly
Than to divide the spoil with the proud.

Proverbs 29:23
23 A man’s lofty pride will bring him low,
But a lowly spirit will take hold of glory.

Proverbs 15:25
25 Yahweh will tear down the house of the proud,
But He will cause the boundary of the widow to stand.

Isaiah 13:9-11
9 Behold, the day of Yahweh is coming,
Cruel, with fury and burning anger,
To make the land a desolation;
And He will exterminate its sinners from it.
10 For the stars of heaven and their constellations
Will not flash forth their light;
The sun will be dark when it rises
And the moon will not shed its light.
11 Thus I will punish the world for its evil
And the wicked for their iniquity;
I will also put an end to the pride of the arrogant
And bring low the lofty pride of the ruthless.

Mark 7:20-23
20 And He was saying, “That which proceeds out of the man, that is what defiles the man. 21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, sexual immoralities, thefts, murders, adulteries, 22 coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. 23 All these evil things proceed from within and defile the man.”

1 John 2:15-17
15 Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and also its lusts, but the one who does the will of God abides forever.

Luke 1:49-51
49 For the Mighty One has done great things for me,
And holy is His name.
50 AND HIS MERCY IS UPON GENERATION AFTER GENERATION
TOWARD THOSE WHO FEAR HIM.
51 He has done a mighty deed with His arm;
He has scattered those who were proud in the thoughts of their heart.

This is by no means an extensive list of scriptures on the topics of pride, and humility. It is a good representation of the topics. If we take pride in anything except what God has accomplished, we are sinning. He is our provision. We live because He upholds us by the power of His word. He gets all of the glory. When we are proud of something outside of God, we are robbing God of His glory, and attributing it to ourselves. In other words, we are taking something that should be attributed to God, the Creator, and just Judge, and attributing it to ourselves. We are fallen, sinful, finite, creatures. This is a demonstration of what is said in Romans Chapter 1. We are there now. We are under God’s just judgment. We need individual, and national, repentance of sin. We need to all turn from our sins, and trust solely in the Jesus, and His justifying work on the cross.

Romans 1:18-32
God’s Wrath on Unrighteousness
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, both His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21 For even though they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the likeness of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.
24 Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. 25 For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
26 For this reason God gave them over to dishonorable passions; for their females exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27 and in the same way also the males abandoned the natural function of the female and burned in their desire toward one another, males with males committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.
28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them over to an unfit mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29 having been filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, violent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; 32 and although they know the righteous requirement of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.

Stop spreading lies about gender, and sexuality. God has already judged what is good, and evil.

Homosexuality and modern gender lies, are sexual immorality. They are perversions of the means God has ordained for the flourishing of mankind, being made in His image, for His glory. Therefore, they are sins against God, rebellion against His created order, and a blasphemies against the His gospel. The marriage union of a husband, and wife, is a typological representation of the gospel of Christ being unified with His blood bought bride. It is denigrated by satan, and his perversions. I absolutely don’t give any credence at all to any so called Christian who would defend these perversions, and seek to do violence to God’s word to justify these things. These sins must be repented of, and the sinner must be reconciled to God by the justifying work of Christ on the cross. They must admit that they are in sin. If they are taught by the satanic pseudochristians that these are not sins, they will never repent. They will be deceived all the way to the eternal torment of hell. The pseudochristians who teach them these lies will burn in hell for their satanic allegiance.

Romans 1:18-32

1 Corinthians 6:9-11
9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

1 Timothy 1:8-11
8 But we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully, 9 knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous person, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and godless, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, 10 for sexually immoral persons, for homosexuals, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching, 11 according to the gospel of the glory of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted.

Jude 1:6-7
6 And angels who did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day, 7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, having indulged in the same way as these in gross sexual immorality and having gone after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire.

Leviticus 18:22
22 And you shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.

Leviticus 20:13
13 If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltiness is upon them.

Genesis 19:1-11
1 Then the two angels came to Sodom in the evening as Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. Lot saw them and rose to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground. 2 And he said, “Now behold, my lords, please turn aside into your servant’s house, and spend the night, and wash your feet; then you may rise early and go on your way.” They said however, “No, but we shall spend the night in the square.” 3 Yet he pressed them strongly, so they turned aside to him and entered his house; and he made a feast for them and baked unleavened bread, and they ate. 4 Before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, surrounded the house, from young to old, all the people from every quarter; 5 and they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them.” 6 But Lot went out to them at the doorway and shut the door behind him, 7 and said, “Please, my brothers, do not act wickedly. 8 Now behold, I have two daughters who have not known a man; please let me bring them out to you, and do to them what is good in your eyes; only do nothing to these men, inasmuch as they have come under the shelter of my roof.” 9 But they said, “Step aside.” Furthermore, they said, “This one came to sojourn, and already he is persistently acting like a judge; now we will treat you more wickedly than them.” So they pressed hard against Lot and stepped up to break the door. 10 But the men reached out their hands and brought Lot into the house with them and shut the door. 11 And they struck the men who were at the doorway of the house with blindness, from small to great, so that they wearied themselves trying to find the doorway.

Judges 19:16-30
16 But behold, an old man was coming from his work, from the field, at evening. Now the man was from the hill country of Ephraim, and he was sojourning in Gibeah, but the men of the place were Benjamites. 17 And he lifted up his eyes and saw the traveler in the open square of the city; and the old man said, “Where are you going, and where do you come from?” 18 And he said to him, “We are passing from Bethlehem in Judah to the remote part of the hill country of Ephraim. I am from there, and I went to Bethlehem in Judah. But I am now going to the house of Yahweh, and no man is taking me into his house. 19 Yet there is both straw and fodder for our donkeys, and also bread and wine for me, your maidservant, and the young man who is with your servants; there is no lack of anything.” 20 Then the old man said, “Peace be to you. Only let me take care of all that you lack; however, do not spend the night in the open square.” 21 So he brought him into his house and gave the donkeys fodder, and they washed their feet and ate and drank.
22 They were making their hearts merry, and behold, the men of the city, certain vile fellows, surrounded the house, pounding the door; and they spoke to the owner of the house, the old man, saying, “Bring out the man who came into your house that we may know him.” 23 Then the man, the owner of the house, went out to them and said to them, “No, my brothers, please do not do evil. Since this man has come into my house, do not commit this disgraceful act. 24 Behold, my daughter who is a virgin, and his concubine—please let me bring them out that you may violate them and do to them whatever is good in your eyes. But do not commit such a disgraceful act against this man.” 25 But the men were not willing to listen to him. So the man took hold of his concubine and brought her out to them; and they knew her and abused her all night until morning, and they let her go at the breaking of dawn. 26 As the day began to dawn, the woman came and fell down at the doorway of the man’s house where her master was, until full daylight.
27 Then her master arose in the morning and opened the doors of the house and went out to go on his way, and behold, the woman, his concubine, was lying at the doorway of the house with her hands on the threshold. 28 And he said to her, “Get up and let us go,” but there was no answer. Then he took her on the donkey; and the man arose and went to his home. 29 Then he entered his house and took a knife and took hold of his concubine and cut her in twelve pieces, limb by limb, and sent her throughout the territory of Israel. 30 And all who saw it said, “Nothing like this has ever happened or been seen from the day when the sons of Israel came up from the land of Egypt to this day. Consider it; take counsel and speak up!”

Portraying yourself as the opposite sex, is deception. It is the sin of lying. It is perversion of what God made as male, and female. Therefore it is rebellion. It is believing a lie, that you can become a different gender when you cannot. It is impossible. There is no such thing as being, “transgendered” regardless of what modern liberal “theologians”, psychologists, and other deceived sinners say.

Deuteronomy 22:5
5 “A woman shall not wear man’s clothing, nor shall a man put on a woman’s clothing; for whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh your God.

Mark 10:6-9
6 But from the beginning of creation, God MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE. 7 FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER, 8 AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH; so they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9 What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.”

Genesis 1:27-28
27 And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that creeps on the earth.”

The liar, and murderer, satan, has from the beginning, lied about what God has said, and perverted, inverted, everything that God has declared good, and evil, beautiful, and bad. Satan murders people in this world by lying to them, and once they have believed the lies, they suffer the death due them. Then, they die eternally. The unimaginable evil being done to the people who have believed these lies about gender, and sexuality, is unfathomable to me. Only the most defiled, disgusting people, and satanically deceived people would push these perversions on the young, and impressionable. If you are one of the people who push these lies, and call yourself a Christian, repent! You are a false teacher, and are leading people to eternal torment in hell. If you won’t repent, you may find yourself in hell as well. May God have mercy on us all.

Some ancient Christian correspondence for you.

“Theophilus (Θεόφιλος, friend of God), bishop of Antioch (died 181 AD). Theophilus was born into a pagan family in Syria and became a Christian as an adult by studying the Scriptures. Towards the end of the second century, he wrote a three-volume apologetic work, Ad Autolychum (To Autolycus), to an intelligent pagan friend named Autolycus, “an idolater and scorner of Christians.”3 In this, his sole surviving work, Theophilus tries to convince Autolycus of the falseness and absurdity of paganism (idolatry) and the truthfulness of Christianity by contrasting the gods of the Greco-Roman religions with the God of Christianity. In Ad Autolycus, Theophilus “draws upon his impressive learning as he makes his case, quoting philosophers, poets and historians that would be familiar to his audience.”4 Not only does Theophilus work on an extensive philosophical level, but his apologetic methodology “focuses on the creation story [account] in particular, offering a lengthy exposition of Genesis and the creation week.”5 Theophilus is an important apologist to learn from as he sees the importance of the authority of Scripture, especially in Genesis, in his apologetic work against pagan philosophies.” From Answersingenesis.com

Theophilus – To Autolycus – Book 1

Chap. II. — That the Eyes of the Soul Must Be Purged Ere God Can Be Seen.

“But if you say, “Show me thy God,” I would reply, “Show me yourself,3 and I will show you my God.” Show, then, that the eyes of your soul are capable of seeing, and the ears of your heart able to hear; for as those who look with the eyes of the body perceive earthly objects and what concerns this life, and discriminate at the same time between things that differ, whether light or darkness, white or black, deformed or beautiful, well-proportioned and symmetrical or disproportioned and awkward, or monstrous or mutilated; and as in like manner also, by the sense of hearing, we discriminate either sharp, or deep, or sweet sounds; so the same holds good regarding the eyes of the soul and the ears of the heart, that it is by them we are able to behold God. For God is seen by those who are enabled to see Him when they have the eyes of their soul opened: for all have eyes; but in some they are overspread,4 and do not see the light of the sun. Yet it does not follow, because the blind do not see, that the light of the sun does not shine; but let the blind blame themselves and their own eyes. So also thou, O man, hast the eyes of thy soul overspread by thy sins and evil deeds. As a burnished mirror, so ought man to have his soul pure. When there is rust on the mirror, it is not possible that a man’s face be seen in the mirror; so also when there is sin in a man, such a man cannot behold God. Do you, therefore, show me yourself, whether you are not an adulterer, or a fornicator, or a thief, or a robber, or a purloiner; whether you do not corrupt boys; whether you are not insolent, or a slanderer, or passionate, or envious, or proud, or supercilious; whether you are not a brawler, or covetous, or disobedient to parents; and whether you do not sell your children; for to those who do these things God is not manifest, unless they have first cleansed themselves from all impurity. All these things, then, involve you in darkness, as when a filmy defluxion on the eyes prevents one from beholding the light of the sun: thus also do iniquities, O man, involve you in darkness, so that you cannot see God.”

Here Theophilus is arguing that God must open your eyes via spiritual new birth, (regeneration) and that God must cleanse you from sin, (justification) and that you must live accordingly by the power of God in the Spirit. (sanctification)

Ever wonder why all your sensory organs, except for one are all located so close to the brain?

Let’s consider why our eyes, nose, tongue, and ears, are so close to our brains. If they were located at the extremities, the signals they received would have a higher latency. What you see with your eyes, no longer exists as it did when you saw it. There is a short amount of time that passes from when an observable situation passes from occurring, to being observed, and perceived by an individual. In a sense, we are always living in the past. The same is true for all of our senses. Imagine if there were creatures with vastly superior systems of sensation than us. To us it would seem like they were supernaturally quick. To creatures that don’t have senses closely located to their brains, we seem that way to them.

This is one of the many evidences of an intelligent Creator, as opposed to a chaotic non-probable chance mutation model based on Darwinian evolution. Let’s just assume that there were a pool of creatures that suddenly evolved with all the sense organs, and the neural hardware to operate them. (Which is a lot to assume.) Did they evolve the desire to eat, or the ability to eat first? Did they evolve the complex organs for sexual reproduction first, or the desires to engage in sex first? If they had the desire, but not the capacity, how did they move from their first iteration to the next? If they developed the capacity, but not the desire, you have the same problem. Did they somehow evolve at the same time? Why would they do that? How would that happen? If it didn’t happen for all of the creatures in the pool at the same time, how did they survive long enough to breed, and pass the mutation on? This is all too idiotic. It is a pipe dream.

God as the Creator, makes infinitely more sense to me than any of these other silly ideas. We have similarities to other creatures, because we have the same Creator, who used similar designs, not because we are related through ancestorial descent.

Social Media’s Effect On My Attitudes.

I don’t know if anyone else has noticed this about themselves. I’m certain they have. I can’t be the only one who thinks, and feels this way. The people, and situations that pop up in my feeds, almost always infuriate me. It seems as if the algorithms are designed in such a way as to induce this loathing. One of the curious aspects of this is that it appears to be on both sides of the aisles of artifice. At one time in our not so distant history, we were unified as, “Americans.” Now it seems, some evil actors have distilled the strongly held convictions of Americans, and aggregated them into two categories for the specific purpose of causing division, and animus.

The longer I read stories on social media, the more angry I get. I get so angry my thoughts run towards civil war, and how necessary it may become. I see a similar fomentation on the left. They are actually more prone to committing acts of violence, and murder, because they are not restrained by an external, or internal moral law. They, by nature, are slaves to the immoral, and sinful flesh. Knowing this, causes me to feel pity for them, and brings me back from the brink of human warfare. They are the pawns of satan, and his demons. Behind the scenes they manipulate the thinking, feeling, and acting, that all of the lost people engage in. I’m not negating their culpability. They are fully responsible for their own sin. It is the notion that their guilt is compounding, and God’s judgment is sure, and just. This certainty of future justice puts my warmongering, murderous flesh at ease. Not only that, but it is responsible for my seeing truly how terrible, and horrendous, it is to be under God’s judgment, and to have His holy wrath poured out on a person.

This should help us to behave as Christians, and not as slaves to satan, and sin. Let’s be slaves of Christ, and His righteousness. When we see them, even though they slay us, may we see them as Christ saw His crucifiers, “But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” AND THEY CAST LOTS, DIVIDING UP HIS GARMENTS AMONG THEMSELVES.” Luke 23:34. Let us see them the way Stephen saw his murderers, “Then falling on his knees, he cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” And having said this, he fell asleep.” Acts 7:60

We know that we deserve death and hell as sinners, but we also know the good news of Jesus. We know His gospel. We know, and are known by Him. We are His adopted sons, and daughters. We are heirs with Him by grace, through faith in Him, and His work. The lost only know their sin, and they love it. They have no desire to mortify it. They don’t esteem Christ. In fact, they hate Him. Their indifference is hatred. We know better.

We must be the adults. Our minds have been put in order by God. Our emotions must be brought under control, and subjected to the true judgments of God revealed in His word. This being the case, remain calm. Don’t let any self-righteous indignation boil over into actual violence. We can be angry, and not sin, as long as we are angry at what angers God, and we don’t take vengeance. Vengeance is God’s domain. Much of what we see on social media angers God. He will, without doubt, be far more severe than we could ever possibly be in His just judgment. We can merely kill the body, but God can subject their souls to eternal torment. We can dole out human justice, but God is the lawgiver, King, Judge, and Lord of all.

There is a blatant wickedness the likes of which I have not seen in my lifetime. It is distressing. People I know, and love dearly, are deceived, and one day may be my betrayers. I know this from God’s revealed word. Matthew 10:34-36, “Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I came to SET A MAN AGAINST HIS FATHER, AND A DAUGHTER AGAINST HER MOTHER, AND A DAUGHTER-IN-LAW AGAINST HER MOTHER-IN-LAW; and A MAN’S ENEMIES WILL BE THE MEMBERS OF HIS HOUSEHOLD.” I would calm myself with the knowledge of God, His attributes, His word, and the promises I see in Him. I hope that any readers out there will also be calmed. God is in control of history. He is sovereign over all things. No matter what happens to us, how we live, or how we die, let it be to demonstrate the glory of our God.

Book Reviews

A Review of, “Uninvented” by Mike D’Virgilio.

As many of you know, I determine a book’s value in the individual’s home library primarily on a few factors. First of course, it must be doctrinally sound. Second, its message must be one that is valuable for rereading. Third, it must be an asset to lend out to others to read. I recently read a book titled, “Uninvented” by Mike D’Virgilio. I have several people send me titles they’d like reviewed, but most of them are self-published, poorly edited, and ill thought out. Their theology is usually a hot-soup-sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It was none of those things. As a bonus, I can actually recommend it according to the criteria I previously discussed.

The book is an apologetic work in which D’Virgilio argues for the authority, and trustworthiness of the Bible as the actual word of God. He argues that its verisimilitude is potent evidence. Some might call that a circular argument, or an appeal to authority, but those arguments are null if the Bible is actually true. I’ve read other works with some of the same arguments for the trustworthiness of the Bible, but few with as many of them compiled together, and organized in such a way as to lend them to the work of strengthening the believer. If you are a Christian who has run into some arguments that have shaken your faith in the trustworthiness of God’s word, this book is for you. I highly recommend it. It is a brief work, but in its brevity lacks nothing significant for the intended work at hand.

Here is a link to a Youtube vlogcast that Mike was on a while ago discussing his book, and some of the ideas in it.

Race-baiting, and Hatred.

I have a confession to make, and I think many of you could also confess likewise. The desired effect of all this race-baiting is to stir up hatred, and animosity. I feel it working. I see the black on white violence, and the anti-white-ism. It is engendering more knee-jerk hateful emotional responses from me. I want to call the people engrossed in the opposing sub-culture, all of the racist slurs. I want to round them up, and execute them for their lawlessness. If the mainstream media, can emotionally manipulate a Christian to sin this way, imagine what it is doing to the lost. I take responsibility for my sins. It isn’t entirely the M.S.M.s fault when I choose to hate someone. They are complicit, but my hatred is only misplaced for a second in time. God convicts me by His Spirit, and His Word. I repent, and move on. What does the rest of the world do when they fall to hatred? I think they continue in it, and build upon it. Murder in the heart can too quickly become actual murder. Let this serve as a warning, do not be fooled by the world.

Isaiah 55:6-7
6 Seek Yahweh while He may be found;
Call upon Him while He is near.
7 Let the wicked forsake his way
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
And let him return to Yahweh,
And He will have compassion on him,
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon.

Transgender? Homosexual Marriage? Social Justice?

Christian, do not employ the nomenclature of the lost! It is rife with flawed presuppositions. You cede your argument before you ever begin. Let’s examine the term, “transgender.” If you begin a discussion with someone on the topic of delusional perversion by employing the term, “transgender” you have already lost. You’ve admitted that people can be, “transgender” by accepting into common use the term of the lost. How many people do you know, who after being born, mutated in such a way as to change from being chromosomally XY to being XX, or vice versa? You see, that would truly be transgenderism. Since this is an impossibility, the term itself should not be employed.

Homosexual marriage is an impossibility as well, as God has clearly defined what true marriage is in His word. To call any other union a marriage in the same line is to call God a liar, and open treason against Him. Instead, call it what it is, a perverse government sanctioned joining of two lost perverts. Even in non-Christian, heterosexual marriages we could use the same description. Two lost people go to the court with a license and get legally joined by the government. Since when did the government define marriage? It should only agree with God on what marriage is.

Social justice? I’m sorry my friends, justice is either justice, or it is not. There is no need, nor benefit of adding an adjective to it. When God finally balances the scales, He will punish the victimizers, and restore the victims. Guess what, that doesn’t mean you are a victim. The only victims in the end will be those who love Christ Jesus, and had to endure during their temporal lives the besmirching of Christ by the lost. We will be vindicated, because our great and mighty King will put down all treason against Him once and for all. You can bend your knee now, or you can do it later, but rest assured, you will bend your knee and recognize Him as King, and God.

As Christians, we care about what is objectively true. Let’s not lie, by complacence, or trying to please the world. The truth of the matter is, a person who feels, thinks, they are a gender other than what they are, is suffering from their enslavement to their sinful nature. They are also suffering the noetic effect of sin. They are also believing lies. They are delusional, and perverted. Before you get on your high-horse, remember so were some of you. After conversion, we are all at war with sin in our lives. We need to have mercy, and charity, when proclaiming the truth to someone who is so lost, and confused, but let’s not engage in lies to do so. Accurately surmise the situation, and share the truth in love with them.

As in the days of Noah?

When I was a Pentecostal, I heard and believed, a lot of heterodox teachings. Whenever some immoral scandal was talked about on television, I remember my in-laws would always say, “As in the days of Noah!” I’d ask them what they meant, and they explained how wicked it was then, and how things are going to be wicked like that, and that is a sign of the times. Now, if I had just heard it from them, I might have doubted it more, but I even heard it at Church. When we were going to a Nazarene Church I heard it from many people. I was younger, and figured they knew what they were talking about. I even heard T.V. preachers say it.

Of course now, I know better. I can’t believe it took so long for God to bring me out of those, “wacky” ways. I say, “wacky” because looking back, I think I must have been extremely biblically ignorant to go along with the insanity. Pentecostals told me I should be speaking in tongues. They taught to be slain in the Spirit. They taught us to engage in what they called, “spiritual warfare.” They taught us to speak directly to satan, and to bind him up, gouge out his eyes, stuff up his ears, and that we could send him away. Looking back, why would anyone pray to satan? That’s what speaking to him is you know. Why would a person do any of that? If you thought that was what Christianity was, and you wanted to be Christian so you wouldn’t go to hell, you might do those things like I did.

I’m not going to tackle all the heterodox teachings tonight. I’m just going to address the one that stems from Matthew 24:37. I’ll cite it here once, out of context so you can see the verse I’m talking about. Then, I’ll cite it with its surrounding context so you can follow along and see the true meaning for yourself. This way, if you are in the same error I was, you can repent, and come into fuller knowledge of the truth.

Matthew 24:37 LSB “For just as the days of Noah were, so the coming of the Son of Man will be.”

Now, out of context, this could mean a lot of things. That’s how false teachers do what they do you know. They take some verses they like from all over the Bible, and rip them from their context, string them together, and pervert the word of God.

Here it is in context.

Matthew 24:29-51 LSB
The Coming of the Son of Man
29 “But immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the POWERS OF THE HEAVENS will be shaken. 30 And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory. 31 And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His  elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.
The Parable of the Fig Tree
32 “Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; 33 so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. 34 Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.
36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. 37 For just as the days of Noah were, so the coming of the Son of Man will be. 38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 Then there will be two in the field; one will be taken, and one will be left. 41 Two women will be grinding grain at the  mill; one will be taken and one will be left.
Be Ready for His Coming
42 “Therefore stay awake, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming. 43 But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. 44 For this reason you also must be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.
45 “Who then is the faithful and prudent slave whom his master put in charge of his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46 Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes. 47 Truly I say to you that he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 48 But if that evil slave says in his heart, ‘My master is not coming for a long time,’ 49 and begins to beat his fellow slaves and eat and drink with drunkards; 50 the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour which he does not know, 51 and will cut him in pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

After reading all of that, hopefully you can see this is in regards to when Jesus will return. The comparison to the flood is to let us know that nobody knows when He is returning except God Himself. Just like the people who lived in the days of Noah, they didn’t know when the flood would occur. They kept on living their lives as if it was never going to happen. They even mocked Noah. Just like those days, people will keep living their lives. They won’t repent. They won’t trust Christ. They’ll go on as if there is no judgment to come. Like then, they will be swept away, and burnt up like the chaff, or the tares.

What should you take from all of this? Instead of worrying so much about end times lunacy (There are a lot of lunatics out there preaching crazy things.) Make sure you understand the gospel of Christ Jesus. Make sure you are preaching it to everyone you can. Make sure you are studying the Bible rightly, and that you are yielded to the Spirit, in obedience, and joy.

Acts 17:30-31 LSB “30 Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now commanding men that everyone everywhere should repent, 31 because He has fixed a day in which He will judge  the world in righteousness through a Man whom He determined, having furnished proof to all by raising Him from the dead.””

This isn’t a suggestion. Repent of your sins, and trust in Jesus alone for your justification, and everything that coincides with it. Do so now, before it is too late, and the judgment of God is poured out on the Earth. This time it will be a universal conflagration, and nobody will escape unless they have been purchased by the blood of Jesus, our Lord, and God. Just like the ark was the vessel God’s elect were brought through flood that was the God’s judgment against the unrepentant sinners of the world, Jesus is our ark to rescue us from the fiery flood of judgment to come.
