Stay Away From Andrew Wommack and His Book, “A Better Way to Pray.”

“A Better Way to Pray” by Andrew Wommack

Right off the bat, we have presuppositional problems.  Here is a quote from the introduction,

“Are you ready for your prayer life to improve? Would you like to learn how to pray more accurately and receive God’s answers more quickly? If so, you’re reading the right book!”

There is no way our prayers can be any more or less effective, if we are in Christ, the Holy Spirit is interceding for us.  The will of the Father will always be done.  The efficacy of our prayers does not lie within our attitudes or abilities.  In fact it is our inability that should glorify God.  He uses weak little creatures like us to accomplish what He has ordained and decreed.  When we see our prayers being answered it is because we are aligning our wills with His.  When we don’t see the answers we were hoping for, it is because we are sinfully praying from the flesh for what we want over what He wants.  We all know that what He wants is good and is for our good, even if it means our deaths.  Yes, even our deaths can be part of God’s good purposes.  Just because we cannot see the effect of something that happens in the future doesn’t mean that the seemingly bad thing that happened is not God’s will.  We just assume so much about our own importance.  The focus of the Christian faith isn’t us or what we want!  The focus is the glory of God, and what He wills.  After all aren’t we supposed to lose our wills and be conformed to the word and will of Christ?  We cannot pray His will away, or pray Him into doing something we want Him to do from our carnal fallen wills.

Read what God says in His word.

“Romans 8:26-39 (NASB) 26 In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; 27 and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. 29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; 30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.
31  What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? 33 Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; 34 who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was  raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. 35 Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 Just as it is written,
“For Your sake we are being put to death all day long;
WE were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Yet another laughable notion from the introduction,

“But let me ask you this: If the way you are praying isn’t getting good results, why then would you resist change in this area? “

I wonder what the magic formula must be?

His righteousness imputed to us is what makes our entering into prayer acceptable to God.  Without that and the Holy Spirit, we would still need a High Priest.  Good thing Jesus is our High Priest, and we don’t need any other.

Finally we get to Chapter 1 to read this gem,

“In 1969, I heard a wrong teaching that Satan was “God’s messenger boy.” It said that the devil can only do what the Lord allows, and therefore, God uses him to work good in our lives. That’s totally wrong, but I didn’t know it at the time. I brought this teaching back to my girlfriend and she bought into it completely.”

First off, satan is a creature.  He was created by God as Lucifer.  He sinned, was cast out of Heaven to Earth, and is now satan.  He can’t do anything without God allowing it.  If you remember from reading Job, he had to ask permission from God to torment Job.  All creatures can only do what God allows.  If God wants to stop you from doing something, He can simply stop you.  God is sovereign.

Then he goes on to show allegedly the terrible outcome of believing in the sovereignty of God, and the fact that satan is a created subject of our Lord.  I don’t know if his story is true or not.  Even if it is, and even if they died because of their prayers, all it proves is that it was their time to die.  Nobody dies without God ordaining it.  Not even a sparrow dies without God ordaining it.  Of course there are martyrs all throughout history who have died horrible deaths.  These deaths have been exclamations of their lives of faith.  Still today, Christians die horrible torturous deaths because of their faith, and love for Christ.  I guess they must be praying wrong according to Andy.

I doubt his stories about the boy from school, “coming down with leukemia the next day” are true.  We don’t pray to satan, and satan doesn’t answer our prayers.  Satan has no ability to read our minds and hear prayers from us.  Satan doesn’t control when we die.  God does.  If satan kills someone it is because God has ordained that fashion of death for them.  If the stories about two young people are true, then God had ordained for them to die in just the way that they died.

So his son was raised from the dead, because his relationship with God, and how he prayed.  When my father died and stayed dead, when my friend’s 2 year old died and stayed dead, it was our fault because we didn’t pray right, or have the same communion with God?  What a load of garbage.  Andrew Wommack needs to stop teaching and repent.

Here’s a good one, “The heart attitude behind your prayer interests God much more than the actual words you say. Just because you spend an hour, or more, in what you call“prayer” doesn’t mean you’re accomplishing anything. If your attitude is wrong, you’re praying wrong!”

Guess what… we are all praying wrong.  None of us can pray a prayer on our own that is acceptable to God. The Holy Spirit makes our prayers acceptable to God along with the justifying work of Jesus.

Apparently Wommack teaches universal or general atonement.  Here it is from his own book,

“As far as God’s concerned, the sins of the entire world have already been forgiven. The Lamb’s perfect sacrifice dealt decisively with the past, present, and future sins of every believer and nonbeliever alike. This doesn’t mean that all are just “automatically” saved (or healed). All individuals must receive for themselves by faith what Jesus Christ has already provided in order to actually benefit from it. A gift given isn’t fully yours until it’s received!”

Did you catch that?  Apparently Jesus justified everyone’s sins with the Father.  Apparently He atoned for everyone.  So I guess Jesus’ work was not perfect or sufficient.  I guess it was wasted on those who would not repent.  Here is the problem with claiming He made salvation available for everyone, it means that all sin has already been paid for, so then even if a person doesn’t repent and believe in Christ, their sin is already atoned for.  That means they have no guilt before God.  There is no need for anyone to accept salvation or the gift as he puts it.  It is a ridiculous statement.  This is what happens when you let bad theology, emotions, and tradition dictate your faith.

It is apparent that Wommack has used an Arminian highlighter (black sharpie) to highlight/redact all of the verses about predestination and election.  The lady he mentions on page 7 who was unsure if she was saved or not could have been helped by good theology, not Wommack’s hodge podge, grab bag, word of faith nonsense.  If the lady had not been granted saving faith and repentance, then no matter how much she intellectually affirms the gospel, she will not be saved (justified).  Being saved (justified) requires God to grant you true repentance, and faith along with the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit.  He only does this for His elect, whom He has predestined from before the creation of the world.

And yet more nonsense from Andy, “What if someone in a wheelchair came forward for healing during a service? If I prayed and didn’t see him rise out of the wheelchair immediately, I could ask the audience, “How many of you will stand in faith together with me? Let’s fast and pray in agreement, not letting go of God until He heals this person.” I bet I could persuade 90 percent of the people to go along with that! Yet God’s Word clearly proclaims, “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him” (Col. 2:6). In the same way you appropriate and walk in forgiveness of sin, you receive healing, deliverance, prosperity, and everything else! If begging God to save the lady in the first scenario is inappropriate, then doing so for healing or anything else in the Christian life is absolutely wrong too! Christ already made full provision for the abundant life through His atonement. It’s now not up to Him to do, but you to receive what He’s done!”

How about the Christians of the early Church or the middle east right now?  The martyrs of the Church live an abundant life in Christ, even in their poverty and deaths.  Christ talked more about suffering for the faith than living in comfort and health.  Matter of fact, those are signs you are doing it wrong.

And more idiocy, “Sometimes Christians approach God, praying, “I know You can heal me, but You haven’t done it yet. Therefore, I want to learn how to make You heal me.” This is rank unbelief! They don’t believe that He’s already done it and they think they can make Him do it.  Wrong! Such unbelief explains why more people aren’t experiencing healing.”

So how about Christians who suffer long lingering deaths?  You can pray for life and health if you want, but you should be praying for God’s will to be done, and for Him to be glorified, after all isn’t that what Christ did before the crucifixion?  Luke 22:42, “saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.””

We haven’t even made it to the 2nd chapter of this disservice to Christ, and twisting of His word to bilk people out of money and true peace.

“In our Bible schools and teaching seminars, we confidently instruct people not to “pray” for the sick, but to heal them. Jesus commanded us in Matthew 10:8 to “heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, [and] cast out devils.”  There’s a huge difference between healing the sick and just praying for them!”

Matthew 10:8 is not an instruction to the Church.  It is instruction to the Apostles during the foundation of the Church.  The Apostles who were specifically personally appointed to their office by the incarnate Christ during His earthly ministry were to fulfill Matthew 10:8.  Bad hermeneutics lead to Wommack’s horrible interpretation.  The wages of sin is death.  We are all under the curse of original sin.  We all will die.  There is not a single person alive today who will not die unless the Lord returns first.

And more false teachings,

“Jesus Christ completed everything necessary to save and heal every person. You believed and received salvation.  Healing comes the exact same way!  It shouldn’t be any harder to receive your healing since He provided it at the same time as forgiveness for your sin. Neither does it take any more faith to raise someone from the dead than to see them born again!”

If this is the case, then Wommack and his cronies should all never die, and not wear glasses, get sick, or ever go to the doctor.  They need to go to each nursing home and raise all of the old people from the dead when they die.  This is just ludicrous and idiotic.  Anyone who believes this tripe is being deceived.  They join the health and wealth false gospel with their soteriology.  Do you see the problems here?  If you don’t do these miracles, you aren’t justified to God according to Andy’s way of thinking.

You had to know this would show up sometime,

“As a citizen of the kingdom of darkness, the enemy legitimately dominated your life. At the time of your salvation, you hadn’t been fasting, praying, studying the Word, attending church, paying tithes, or living a holy life.”

Never mind that we are not Jews, we are not under the ceremonial law, and we have the instruction to prayerfully consider and give with a cheerful heart.  There is no set tithe for Christians.

Here Wommack perverts the gospel,

“The good “news” of the gospel is that God has already forgiven you. Why would you choose to go to hell with your sins forgiven?”

with this I am done.  I can’t take anymore false teachings.  I’m not even out of the 1st chapter of this mess.  The good news of the gospel my friends is that you and I are filthy, wretched sinners, who like the people God killed during the flood, deserve death and hell for all eternity, but God being rich in mercy, and grace, provided a way for us to be saved in the work of Jesus on the cross.  While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  Christ took on our guilt.  He took the punishment we deserve as sinners, and when He finished suffering the punishment for every sinner who would repent from sin and believe in His works on the cross, Jesus died, was buried, and resurrected on the third day.  He now sits at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us.  The Holy Spirit regenerates the elect and according to the Father’s will the elect will repent and believe in the work of Christ.  They are saved and cannot be lost.  The Holy Spirit indwells them and is their seal for redemption.  Here is another link to why you should stay away.

  1. Interesting post. I have been following ANdrew Wommack for years now and I can honestly say that for the first time in my entire life I m getting answers to prayers, living in faith and feeling the absolute love of God in my life. Sorry you see it as a false teaching, you missing out!

    1. Experience is no substitute for truth. The Bible says, “Jeremiah 17:9 (NASB) 9 “The heart is more deceitful than all else
      And is desperately sick;
      Who can understand it?”
If the Bible contradicts your experiences then they are invalid. Be careful to rightly divide the word of God. Wommack is a false teacher. Follow his teachings at your own peril.

      1. Hi. Yes the heart is much more deceitful than anything we could imagine! Wow, Ironically Andrew teaches exactly the same thing? I have replied below to you, I would like to know exactly where you have a problem with Andrew Wommack?

      2. [Here is a comment from a reader. I will put my commentary in brackets so you know who is writing.]So do you believe that God (as a good good Father)[Yes, to those He has adopted. He also has a common grace to all mankind, but it is in His providence.] wants his children to be ill,[Yes, His adopted children will be ill. Sickness and death are ordained by God as part of the curse of the fall. We will all die, because we have all sinned. Will you die in Christ, or in yours sins?] unable to move forward in their God ordained destiny,[All of us move forward in space-time as mortal creatures to our deaths. That is all part of His plan for us.] unable to accomplish the purposes God has for them?[Says who? This is a non-sequitur] Or do you believe the enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy?[This is also a non-sequitur. Then enemy obviously comes to kill and destroy. He is God’s creature also. God is sovereign over satan.] It seems to me that it is your theology that does not line up with scripture.[It seems to me that is true about your theology. I also think you are in a cult, and probably mentally ill/sin sick. You have been deceived by satan.] Jesus healed every person that ever asked him.[Jesus is God incarnate. Wommack is a charlatan, liar, and a thief.] Your training in theology has captured your mind to the point where you are not truly seeing the scriptures through the proper lens.[Right back at ya cupcake.] I know you believe you are. Unfortunately you will likely never see the kind of Miracles and healing that God has actually ordained for you to accomplish in your life because of this.[Unlike you, I don’t need lying signs and wonders to have faith. God has granted to me the faith. I also have seen real miracles, like the conversion of people who are dead in their sins. I’ve seen people converted after hearing the real gospel preached. That is far superior to any lying signs and wonders.] I pray that won’t be true.[Your misguided prayers will have no effect, and that should demonstrate how wrong your are about the gifts you think you have. Your prayers will only be effective in far as how much they align with the will of God.] I pray that your eyes will be opened and that you will begin to truly understand the purposes God has for you to accomplish.[The chief end of man is to glorify God. That is my purpose. That is every person’s purpose. The next is to preach the gospel to all the world, and make disciples of all men.] I don’t think his purpose is for you to be condemning other teachers who are doing exactly what Jesus told us all to do.[Andrew is not a Christian. He is outside the camp. I don’t condemn him. He does. He condemns himself with what he preaches.] The gospel has a great deal of power and scriptures even say if you search them out you will find that they even say that the Miracles and the healings are used to show people that the gospel is true.[That was during the Apostolic era in Church history. You’d know that if you studied the book of Acts.] Part of the Gospel is healing miracles Deliverance and if you take that part out you have diluted it.[That is a lie. The gospel does not include physical health, and healing today. Our wholeness is for when we enter into eternity. The gospel is, repent of your sins, and trust Christ solely for your justification to God.] If you don’t think this is true then I asked you why did Jesus go around healing and Performing miracles during his ministry and why did he send disciples out not just the apostles but others out to perform healing and miracles?[That is simple, it was to establish the deity of Christ, and the authority of the appointed Apostles.] I don’t think any of our seminaries teach the true gospel. There may be a few who do but they are rare. The seminaries teach the gospel from man’s point of view and not from what Jesus truly taught and demonstrated. I’m not sure you will ever ever see that but I hope you do.[That is your erroneous opinion. Master’s seminary teaches the gospel of Christ. Ray Comfort preaches the gospel of Christ. All true Christians know the gospel of Christ and evangelize. You have some very unbiblical, and crazy ideas about what it means to be a Christian. I warn you, repent of your heresies of mixing the health & wealth, blab it grab it lies, in with the pure gospel of Christ.]

    2. Absolutely and stunningly correct! The excellent teaching of Andrew Womack far exceed the crybabies who style themselves as “defenders”. I believe it was king Lear who said of their persecution ‘horrible, Oh horrible…MOST HORRIBLE! Where in the world does these fake defenders come from, certainly not from God. My take is because of envy these fakers are ‘crying wolf’. Their heart is in the gutter because Womack teaches TRUTH. Anti Womack criybabies has blinded themselves because of their persecution, they’re blind with rage and jealousy.

He mustn’t think that all of us are babies & have to be guided on what’ is heresy & on what is not heresy. This kind of attitude is more prevalent with most people who went to seminary. You have this thing that grieved & angered Jesus when He was performing a miracle in the presence of Pharisees on a Sabbath day . You need the Holy Spirit to teach you the word not your seminary methods of interpreting the word of God. Remove those lenses.

      2. I don’t hate anyone. I don’t even hate false teachers like Andrew. I do hate that he teaches heresy, and is leading people away from truth. I don’t know what kind of nonsense you are talking about when you bring up Jesus, and the Pharisees. Are you trying to play the Pharisee card? Oh how cute. That’s what people do when they don’t actually have an argument. What is your Biblical argument against anything I wrote in my article? I’m guessing you just don’t like it on a gut level because I attacked the teachings of Andrew.

  2. If you can’t see that Andrew Wommack is one of the very few TRUE men of God, then your discerner isn’t working. And if you can’t understand that what Andrew teaches lines up perfectly with the Bible, then, no offense but, you lack the ability to understand the Bible in context nor do you know how to rightly divide the word. Perhaps if you humbled yourself by sitting under Andrew’s very sound teachings for a while, you would learn.

I assume you do know that God doesn’t look too kindly on someone who attacks a man God himself has annointed, right? If I were you, I would repent and ask for forgiveness.

      1. Hi Bob, this is good, this conversation. Can you please tell me exactly why he is a heretic? The reason that I am asking is that for many years I point blank refused to listen to him until one day I got so sick and tired and not been heard or been able to understand. I got to a point where I was so low thoughts of my life been worthless where in my mind. I do not have all the answers still, however my prayer answers have dramatically improved. I learnt with A.W the very hard way, and that is most people completely misquote him or lump him in with other Word-Faith people when in fact he truly is not much like them in many way, he is one of those guys that you have to listen to quite abit to get what he is actually saying. I am interested as if you are a believer we are brothers, I can see nothing but good having this conversation with you…

    1. Andrew Wommack easily surpasses those who teach against the healing power of God. They teach a preferable doctrine of acceptance of sickness and disease, eagerly. These anti teachers of the healing power of God is a disgrace. They act as if Jesus didn’t heal not one single soul. They talk like evolutionist and atheists wholesale, as if Jesus never came to save the lost soul.

After all it is my site. I pay for it out of my own pocket. If someone else wants to make their own site, they can put whatever content they want on it. There is not a Biblically consistent refutation of orthodox doctrine. Since Wommack is teaching heresy, you cannot justify his teachings with the Bible in any accurate and true way. You could always take verses out of context and misapply them. That is known as eisegesis and is common among teachers of false doctrines.

      3. Hi.
Thank you for the reply, it is appreciated. About your website, yes it is yours but you did publish the article, what I was saying is that I replied to the entire article but when I tried to put it in it shifted all the phrases around so it was all over the place, none the less, I have read the articles you have sent me as well as some other stuff.
I actually am concerned with a few things though that I wish for you to give me answers for. The first thing is Gods sovereignty, I want to state at this point I believe fully that God has the right to do whatever he pleases, no one can oppose his will , he is omnipotent and all powerful. My question is what is our free will? Do we have free will?
You see I will give an example, if I was married and my wife had an affair, if we don’t have free will, does that mean I had no choice in marrying her and that she had no choice in having the affair? So in essence I cannot reconcile myself with the fact that God would ever be so cruel as to do that to someone he “loves” according to the bible. That would also mean that my ex had no choice in having the affair so then cannot be guilty of sin?
That also applies to all the cruel and horrific murders, abortions and rapes that go on in the world? Surely God is good, his word says he is?

These are questions, do not take it as opposition I seriously would like to know how this would work? The reason I ask this is then what difference does it make if I go out and blow my brains out…would that be Gods will? I mean seriously what would be the point of even trying, why does he say sin no more, turn away from all these bad things, renew your mind?

Sorry but my brain cannot fathom this out, to me that is a cruel and horrid God, if it is true then it is no wonder no one would ever want to be christian….

      4. Romans 9 (NASB) 1  I am telling the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience testifies with me in the Holy Spirit, 2 that I have great sorrow and unceasing grief in my heart. 3 For I could wish that I myself were accursed, separated from Christ for the sake of my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh, 4 who are Israelites, to whom belongs the adoption as sons, and the glory and the covenants and the giving of the Law and the temple service and the promises, 5 whose are the fathers, and from whom is the Christ according to the flesh, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen.
6 But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For they are not all Israel who are descended from Israel; 7 nor are they all children because they are Abraham’s descendants, but: “ through Isaac your descendants will be named.” 8 That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are regarded as descendants. 9 For this is the word of promise: “At this time I will come, and Sarah shall have a son.” 10  And not only this, but there was Rebekah also, when she had conceived twins by one man, our father Isaac; 11 for though the twins were not yet born and had not done anything good or bad, so that God’s purpose according to His choice would stand, not because of works but because of Him who calls, 12 it was said to her, “The older will serve the younger.” 13 Just as it is written, “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.”
14  What shall we say then? There is no injustice with God, is there? May it never be! 15 For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” 16 So then it does not depend on the man who wills or the man who runs, but on God who has mercy. 17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I raised you up, to demonstrate My power in you, and that My name might be proclaimed throughout the whole earth.” 18 So then He has mercy on whom He desires, and He hardens whom He desires.
19  You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who resists His will?” 20 On the contrary, who are you, O man, who answers back to God? The thing molded will not say to the molder, “Why did you make me like this,” will it? 21 Or does not the potter have a right over the clay, to make from the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for common use? 22  What if God, although willing to demonstrate His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction? 23 And He did so to make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory, 24 even us, whom He also called, not from among Jews only, but also from among Gentiles. 25 As He says also in Hosea,
“I will call those who were not My people, ‘My people,’
And her who was not beloved, ‘beloved.’”
26 “And it shall be that in the place where it was said to them, ‘you are not My people,’
There they shall be called sons of the living God.”
27 Isaiah cries out concerning Israel, “Though the number of the sons of Israel be like the sand of the sea, it is the remnant that will be saved; 28  for the Lord will execute His word on the earth, thoroughly and quickly.” 29 And just as Isaiah foretold,
“Unless the Lord of Sabaoth had left to us A posterity,
WE would have become like Sodom, and would have resembled Gomorrah.”
30  What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, attained righteousness, even the righteousness which is by faith; 31 but Israel, pursuing a law of righteousness, did not arrive at that law. 32 Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as though it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone, 33 just as it is written,
“Behold, I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense,
And he who believes in Him will not be disappointed.”

I am not sure on this I mean in the bible Jacob payed a huge amount of effort to be blessed by his father, even tricking Esau. There was an instance in the bible where a guy was dying and asked his son to knock and he knocked three times and that symbolized the amount of defeats. God asked Moses why he was looking to him and told him to stretch out his hand?

I am seriously here to learn your take on this, Jesus said speak to the mountain ? I cannot fathom that it could be witchcraft because you do absolutely nothing without Jesus and it is even more vital that it is Gods will. I mean if you wake up everyday and speak Psalms 91 over your life, that is what God has said , not us, we are merely repeating or speaking what God has said or is his will (Clear will, not some personal will) over your life?

As I said I am here to honestly learn you take, who knows perhaps I may even learn something.

    1. Hi thank you once again for your reply.
I am at this moment doing massive amounts of reading , going back to original languages and working in prayer. I know we are both short of time but in all honesty I am not someone to shut out someones viewpoint and therefore and earnestly am seeking the truth and your article and replies has triggered sort of inner question “What if you are right?” thing.

Specifically what I am battling with ,one question at a time, and ill try be precise are :
1: Are you saying that God controls absolutely every little detail that is going on in the world, including everything in my life?
2: If he is, I am kind of struck on trying to find a point to pray, live a holy life, and honestly even to believe in God. This is a statement as i wrote with my wife having an affair and leaving, I am trying to figure out in my brain how he can honestly say he loves me and it is for the better good?
3: Regards to how the world is going (Not a very positive place), I am trying to understand and comprehend how I should believe or even have faith in God if this is what he wants / ordains?
4: Lastly I am trying to make sense of why he would say he loves me and yet ordains my life to be such a living hell. I mean am honestly someone who has always loved God as a Father, I just cannot fathom out if you are implying that if I had to go out and blow my head off (Suicide) that it was somehow Gods will or he let me get born go through this only to suffer and end it? I mean if he loves me why would he ordain it, I may as well just do it and get it over and done with after all he cant blame me if it was all ordained by him?

You see I don’t agree with everything AW says but when it comes down to Gods sovereignty and our position in Christ (IE Praying effectively)it makes sense but basically every single teaching from AW comes down to his view on Gods Sovereignty.

Apologies but I have been taking your comments with utmost seriousness and it has kind well been “destroying” (Sorry for lack of a better word) to my entire belief and existence.

Basically all my questions simply come back to one point, If God is sovereign in the sense that he controls or ordains everything, What is the point of anything?

I invested an hour and a half writing answers to your questions. They are big questions that people have been asking for a very long time. The Bible does have the answers. Considering the answers are just as big as the questions, and I do want to be helpful, I think we need to correspond over e-mail or facebook messenger. I do have a day job, so my answers won’t be until I get home. I deleted my very long answer because it is too much to digest at one time. I am willing to invest the time and effort with you, if you genuinely want to know what God teaches in His word. If you would please e-mail me or message me on facebook with the gospel. Pretend I know nothing about God, and you are sharing the gospel with me.

      2. Gareth, you are deeply loved by God and it was not His will for your wife to be unfaithful. What God will do is bless you in spite of what she chose. Rememeber that God calls the
believer to peace in these cases and a professing believer is not the same as a true believer (we know them by their fruits).
The pain will heal as you put your mind on Him and His goodness and forgive her. God does not want your life to be a living hell. He wants you to have abundant life. Your life matters to God. What the enemy wanted for evil, the Lord will turn around for good. The enemy wants to steal the Word from you through this hardship. It is your part to guard your heart, your mind, use the armor of God and stand. God is always good.

I insulted your golden calf. Andrew is a false teacher. He is responsible for pastoral malpractice and should step down from his position. Since nobody in the Pentecostal Charismatic circle ever gets held accountable by the gullible marks they defraud out of millions of dollars each year, I doubt he will step down. Nope, he’ll keep on compounding his guilt before God. One day, if he doesn’t repent of it, he will be held accountable to the justice of God. Unlike your feigned good wishes towards me, I truly do hope that Andrew repents, and steps down. So many people are hurt by his false teachings, and he tarnishes the name of Christ.

Many preachers, Biblical ones, and heretics, have been told to step down, with and without cause. It happens more than you might think. They usually think they are doing right, or they don’t care and want to keep making money. Wommack is more of a cult leader. Your friend is blind to this. Don’t be too angry with her. She needs your prayers. All you can do is warn them. After that it is between them and God. God can set people free from any lie they have believed.

    1. Andrew is a heretic. If you defend his teachings then you probably are as well. There are plenty of people who have read this article and agree entirely. Jesus called them whited sepulchers full of dead men’s bones. He used some pretty strong language. Peter warned about wolves in the Church. Andrew is a word of faith heretic. He is dangerous to listen to. He would have you pray your cancer away like he claims to be doing. This is Pastoral malpractice. Rather than attacking your golden calf, why don’t I just ask you to defend his false teachings? Explain to me how it is Biblical to tell someone that they should use their faith to get rid of disease? Don’t you know this is a fallen world under a curse from God? Don’t you know that sickness and death are what we as sinners deserve? If you pray to God and He doesn’t heal you, how does Andrew tell you to handle that? How about just reading your Bible from the start to the finish, in context, without the teachings of W.O.F. heretics like Andrew.

  8. Bob,

I recently came across Andrew Wommack after a friend mentioned him to me. Like yourself, I am in the Reformed camp (former Roman Catholic who fell in love with the doctrines of grace) and so I have a high view of God’s sovereignty. I do admit to enjoying much of what Andrew teaches, and I appreciate his demeanor. Honestly, I can listen to him for hours. That said, there are things he teaches that do not sit well with me, primarily concerning what I perceive to be, based on my understanding of the Bible and theology, his imposing limits on the reach and scope of God’s control over all of life, including our physical health. I do believe the Atonement includes physical healing although it is chiefly about spiritual healing (as to the former, rf. Matt 8:16-17), but I think Andrew takes the emphasis on healing off of God’s gracious response to prayer and places it on the spoken faith of the sick (or the faith healer). While I said I am Reformed, I also believe the spiritual gifts did not end with the close of the canon or with the death of John the Apostle. If there is such thing as a charismatic Calvinist, I am probably close. Yes, I have some concerns with Andrew but I would not disparage him as not being a brother. He is, after all, still solid on every major orthodox doctrine concerning the Person of Christ. Finally, a comment-suggestion offered in love: in some of your posts here you come across as harsh and attacking of others who may not possess your ability to write eloquently or clearly. Your tone might cause a non-believer to point fingers at how Christians can be unkind even to each other. Thank you.

  9. Bob:
Thanks for having the courage to expose what we know to be false teachings. I find it interesting that supporters of Wommack are so driven by emotion in their responses – not necessarily a good sign, since our emotions align with our “sinful nature” about 99.9% of the time. Part of the allure of such teachers is the exclusivity of their teachings – they make their adherents believe that they know something others don’t – which appeals directly to a person’s pride. This is evident by the reactions.

    Scripture comments on such movements:
    2 Corinthians 11:13-15 NASB
[13] For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. [14] No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. [15] Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds.

Ironically the “Word of Faith” teachings are nothing more than disguised “New Age” philosophies. I spent 12 years of my life as a disciple of Elkhart Tolle – before ultimately being rescued by Jesus Christ.

    The real “power” of God:
    1 Corinthians 1:18 NASB
[18] For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

    1 Corinthians 1:22-25 NASB
[22] For indeed Jews ask for signs and Greeks search for wisdom; [23] but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness, [24] but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. [25] Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

    Romans 1:16 NASB
[16] For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

Keep up the good work Bob!

    In Christ,
    Allan

  10. Let’s break down Barbara’s comment on my article that has criticized her golden calf. My comments will be [in brackets.] Andrew is the real deal. [Real deal? if by real deal you mean false teacher who bilks his cult members, the wommackians out of millions, then yeah he’s the real deal] It’s the devil in people that post negative stuff about men or women who truly love the Lord. [If he truly loved the Lord he wouldn’t lie about Him and His word.] Why did you get the book, “A Better Way to Pray?” Did it disappoint you and if so, why do you feel the need to have a website hindering others that it may work for? [His book was full of false teachings and heresy. Prayer is not a means to twist God’s arm into giving you health and wealth. The Bible is not about you, it is about Christ. The book that he wrote doesn’t truly help anyone. It only deceives them into believing more lies about God and their relationship with Him.
They will find out one day how much time and money they wasted following guys like Wommack.] You will be held accountable to God because what Andrew does is between he and the Lord. [I am accountable to God according to the Pastoral Epistles to call out wolves who are among the flock, and Wommack is a wolf. He is a dangerous false teacher, and needs to stop, and repent. What he does is between him and God, and everyone he has taught lies to.] A Christian close to God won’t post defaming things about another brother or sister in the Lord.[What about Paul publicly rebuking Peter for his error? Maybe you haven’t read the entire Bible…] I’ve followed Andrew off and on since the early 90’s and he’s been consistent in his teaching, stories, preaching and his faith. When other scandals break out about pastors, etc., you don’t read ONE word about Andrew stumbling in his walk with God – EVER. My advice to you is to delete this website because it is sin.[ and nope… He needs to stop teaching his false teachings, give back the money he has taken, and repent. He is practicing Pastoral malpractice. People will suffer with fatal, and non-fatal diseases needlessly if they follow him. This is so very sinful, it is controversy enough, even if he never gets caught up in any other.]

Since this is my site, I’m going to edit your comment for fun and to make it better since it was so judgmental (sarcasm) “You will know then by their fruits” Andrew is only getting persecuted by you , because he IS teaching TRUTH. (So by truth you must mean lies.)
His book “a better way to pray”, he didn’t say you HAD to pray that way you goober! (oooh I’m a goober lol, that’s a good one. I’ve been a Corrections Officer for almost 25 years. You’re going to have to come up with something better than calling me a goober. Nice ad hominem fallacy). He said if your prayer life isn’t working try something new. He him self use to pray in the same manners. (Prayer isn’t magic. There aren’t any new methods of prayer. There is only the method prayer mentioned in the Bible. We who have been made alive by God have been granted saving faith and repentance, and imputed with the righteousness of Christ pray to God believing what He has said about Himself in His word, and when we pray according to what He wants as we mature and are sanctified, those prayers are answered in the affirmative, but when we pray for things that are not God’s will they are not answered in the affirmative.)
His ministry is HUGE, those are his fruits of many years of Labor In the fields. (A huge congame is not a ministry. Numbers don’t make truth.) Don’t be envious Brother… pride comes before a great fall! Wommack speaks 100% truth. ( I don’t envy him. I pity him. He needs to repent of his false teaching.)

Through Andrew, my eyes have been opened to the truth and that only can happen by the power of the Spirit. Jesus says that his sheep know his voice. If Andrew were in any way a false teacher, the Spirit would alert to that in his people. I was saved in 1992 and sat under Don Krow in bible studies in the Springs. Don worked alongside of Andrew. For you to “warn” people about Andrew? That is between you and God and you will have to give account. Andrew loves the Lord and has done wonderful things in His name.

Phew cor blimey Ihave got right brain freeze from reading all of this, I felt like I was back in the playground watching a load of kids sizing up to each other spouting my dads bigger and better than your dad !! We all get it wrong somewhere somehow,we all still misunderstand and misinterpret Father God and Jesus and feel insecure about them in our own reactive ways,,we all get precious protective and defensive about what we think we know and what is right in our own little different camps,we all fall in to the same old traps and categories and sides that people did in the bible, nothings changed much then apart from the era back drop! No one in particular is right or wrong here. I have got useful and not so useful bits from reading what you all have said whether you are for or against. This also reminds me about in the New Testament inActs when people started to turn to Jesus in hoards after HolySpirit fell( and the religious people felt threatened and used this as an excuse to say this needs to be stopped as it is dangerous ) and some common sense person basically saiddo not do anything drastic yet,let it all pan out first and if it is of God then it will remain and be obvious and if it is not of God then it will be revealed, not stick and fizzle out and die off.It is so obvious to me that the reason why you are all getting so heated on either side is that you all really care, that it is important to you all, that you all love God so much that you do not want to get it wrong because He is that important to you all and so it should be like this!We all need our heads banging together, kiss and make up and realise and be secure in the truth that God loves us all equally,He has no favourites,we do not have to compete for His love, there is no shortfall, shortage,it’s not a competition and yes you are right,it is not about looking to Andrew,Jesse whoever or the other who evers who are only human too as the “answer”as if they know something we do not but let’s be honest we all act and think like this to varying degrees anyway and this is obvious in the replies I have been reading!,we all try and make out that we know and understand more than we do about Father God and Lord Jesus Christ than others . Yes Jesus is the only cure, answer, remedy and we are all still petty like squabbling kids but God loves us!!

      2. Perhaps if you listen to his videos, and compare his teachings to scripture, you will understand why the false gospel he teaches is false. Andrew is a health, and wealth guy. It is his bread and butter. If you teach that a Christian should not be sick, or ill, because they already have perfect health in eternity, in Christ, then you are wrong. That is what Andrew teaches. He teaches that since you are a Christian, you pray in faith, and get here and now, what you already have in eternity. This is just dangerous false teaching, plain and simple. It is pastoral malpractice. In Christ, I am hole. I am healthy and righteous, and at peace with God, but that does not mean that I am not here and now suffering the noetic effects of sin. Due to Adam’s sin, we are cursed by God. We will know want, sickness, suffering, and death. For those who are in Christ, we know that those things are temporary, for this life, here and now. We know what we will be when we are resurrected into our new bodies in glory. Wommack conflates the two realities, and tricks people into believing a lie. We cannot have now, what is promised as a reward in eternity.

    1. Scripture is not, “believing in what God can do.” Scripture is all about God, especially how He is glorified by What He has done, and who He is. It is the story of Jesus Christ, not my story, not your story, not Wommack’s story. It is all about Christ. God always answers our prayers. Sometimes His answer is, “No.” Sometimes, “Yes.” and sometimes, “Wait.” We get sick, we suffer, it is our reality due to the curse of the fall. We are all in Adam until we are in Christ. Our prayers are only acceptable to God due to the Holy Spirit making them so. They are only heard because Christ is our High Priest. He is the one intercessor. We do not test the veracity of scripture by our experiences or feelings. Scripture stands on scripture. It is true regardless of our experiences, or feelings. Christ said we will suffer for our faith in Him. That does not make God a bad Father. We suffer because we are sinners. We are no longer under the condemnation of our sin if we are in Christ. We will not suffer in Hell, but we will suffer her on Earth. To deny that demonstrates biblical ignorance. Do not be fooled by Wommack.

  18. I agree with some of what you say. This ministry is tainted because I went to one of his prayer meetings and was shunted away from him to be prayed for by a racially appropriate volunteer. Not the person I traveled specifically to for expert prayer. In fact, I waited on line to receive ministry from him and he barely allowed me to speak at all whereas he had all the time in the world for people of a certain demographic. It cancelled all validity to the ministry for me. Also I followed all the advice and none of it worked but that’s not Wommack’s fault, it’s God’s. Prayer is God’s 911 system. It’s not a protocol. Any 5 year old child is supposed to be able to cry out to god and get help. God alone is responsible for keeping His promises and if He wanted to help us He would, simply for the asking. There is no PhD required for prayer. Christianity is not an academic subject of study. It’s a love contract. Can you imagine your mother saying you lost a finger because you didn’t ask for a doctor properly? Absurd.

On the other hand God told us to pray. He promised to provide GOOD news, mercy, help, love and life to the LIVING and He provides none of that. None. That’s on nobody but Him. But according to this post you are saying there is no reason to pray. Everything is predestined. If that’s true the cross is utterly invalidated and there is no reason to worship anyone. No reason to follow God at all. We follow Him to have A GOD, a savior just as He promised us. There is no other reason for the faith at all. Sorry. All you believe in is slavery. That’s not Christianity. If we have only what He shoves down our throats how is that in any way love. We get no say in our entire existence living or dead? He created 7 billion victims and died for a brutal system of slavery. FTSF! We already have slavery from men. How does more slavery and brutality make God holy, unique or worship worthy? This is a major joke of putting men in charge of faith. No concept of reality. Just masochistic, fetishised, nonsense.

    1. You misunderstand me if you think I said there is no reason to pray. There is. We are to pray to God, because He commanded us to. Here is another reason, it is sanctifying to do so. As we mature in our faith, our wills are being conformed to God’s. The prayers of a new Christian might be for things that God has not willed to be. As we mature, we pray for things that God has willed, and we see the effects of our prayers.

    1. If you are truly in Christ, He will bring you out of error, and into the fullness of truth. Wommack is a charlatan who defrauds people and robs them. He is a con-man. He has never raised anyone from the dead. He has never made someone regrow a missing limb. He preaches a false gospel.

      1. Hi brother. While I commend you for for smelling a rat in Wommack I can’t agree that 5 point Calvinism is the antidote. Though a comparison with Warfarin might be apt– Calvinism thins the blood so that applies only to the elect, soteriology isn’t so much the question here!

Wommack and followers of AWMI have claimed several times that his son Jonathan Peter was raised from the dead, but the allegations of the ex wife Desiree are readily available online. She claims that the son her husband overdosed on opiates and was revived at the hospital. This is getting to be ancient news, but there’s still Google chats claiming that no death report was ever made.

Raising the dead is a big deal, needless to say, but it might be lost on our more Reformed brothers that in Pentecostal circles such a testimony ups your cred big time.

Furthermore Desiree alleges that Jonathan beat her repeatedly and that when she confronted the ministry she was hushed up. She also said the son was a felon and was one while on ministry staff.

I have tried to contact her to verify these allegations which are very serious but to no avail. She lives in Colorado according to Spokeo.

The older son Joshua Wommack is a tattoo artist near the ministry in Colorado Springs. He has a social media presence on both FB and Instagram. His work largely consists of devils and the kind of imagery one would expect from a tattooist these days but not the son of a major Evangelical figure.

Jonathan is also an artist and lives in Morocco according to his Saatchi Art page.

In neither case is there any mention of relation to Andrew or the ministry but the names, their spelling, and the ages match the info on Spokeo.

A recent video on YouTube has Andrew boasting that over a billion dollars has passed through his ministry over the years and he’s looking for .6 more for additions to his Chairs Bible “college.”

Wommack has been very consistent in his teaching over the years. Its basic Word of Faith Pentecostalism in the post Kenneth Hagin vein.

He will derail once in a while with bizarre speculation such as the teaching cited above (Jesus as the Word was spoken into existence by many voices over the last 4000 years.??!) But this is typicall Pentecostal behavior in my experience and Wommack is by no means unique or among the real astronauts when it comes to doctrinal excursions.

He’s gotten more subtle if anything and comes in under the radar. In fact, to many good hearted souls, his teaching simply challenges them to stand on scriptural promises with a renewed faith.

But I’ve had my eye on him for a while.

I would love to know the full truth, but that’s not humanly possible.

I have been blocked from YouTube by AWMI for questions about the two sons.

A man who doesn’t rule his own household well is unfit to rule the house of God. That much is Bible. And I think all would agree on that.

May the Lord correct this ministry and whether it merits gain or merits loss, may it be pruned.

May all of us become wise consumers in terms of “teaching” and work toward unity in the holy Christian faith on the basics, “providing for things honest in the sight of all.”

      2. I don’t like the comparison to warfarin. It is insulting. If you don’t like reformed soteriology, fine, but don’t come to my page and insult me. The reformed position is the most biblical considering what is eternal and unseen, and what is temporal and seen. People who deny reformed soteriology, deny what is eternal, because they can’t see it, yet. His ex-daughter-in-law contacted me a few years ago and spilled all the gory details. At least, if she were telling me the truth. I had no way to verify who she was, and what she was saying, but if half of it were true, these folks need to be locked up. He is definitely a false teacher. There are no Apostles, healing, and raising people from the dead. That age ended when the last of the Apostles, and their disciples died. Otherwise, everyone who had a disciple of theirs lay hands on them, and anoint them the way it happened during the Apostolic era would be gifted in the same way, doing the same things. It would also mean that the Roman Catholics, and Eastern Orthodox, could both make more valid claims to Apostolic succession, but we know it isn’t true because those gifts are no longer in use, and there are no Apostles today, using them. We also have the testimony of scripture on the topic about the end of those gifts. Instead we have hospitals full of cancer patients, and little children dying of leukemia. I forgive you for the insult, but to quote the puppet in chief, “Come on man!”

  21. Bob are you anti-charismatic or rather anti-pentecostal? You seemt o be very down on the Charismatic Ministers who of course teach and believe in usage of the gifts.Tongues,Healing and so on..Just curious..Is there a media Minnister or evangelist that you ARE in favor of? again ..just curious..What heresies iin particular is Wommack guilty of? If youre syaing it’s the Charasmatic movement in general you are claiming is heresy then i guess im in that boat.

    1. I don’t think all charismatics are lost. Dr. John Piper is a charismatic in the sense that he believes the gifts the Apostles, and their disciples had at their anointings by the Holy Spirit in the 4 outpourings in Acts are continued on today in modern believers. I disagree with them about the scope of the effects of the Holy Spirit’s anointing in the book of Acts on the Jews, Samaritans, Gentiles, and followers of John the Baptist. I think it was for them only to build the foundation of the Church, and as those men died out, those specific gifts ceased, and that is why we don’t see them today. Dr. Piper prays to receive the gift of tongues, but as of yet has not received it. I think he is in error on a secondary article of the faith. That does not make him a heretic. Dr. Wayne Grudem is also a charismatic. That being said, Andrew Wommack is not your generic charismatic. He travels into the arena of being a charlatan, con-man. The elders I mentioned do not lie about performing miracles. Wommack has, and does. He is not qualified as an elder because he lies. That is only one of his disqualifying attributes. Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Jesse Duplantis, and Andrew Wommack are all in the same word-faith movement. None of these liars, and thieves, have ever brought a person back to life, or restored a crippled limb, not in such a miraculous, and verifiable way, to remove any doubt. No, their miracles are always unverifiable, to the point of being pseudo-Christian myth. There are preaching elders who were/are on television & radio that I do affirm. I loved listening to Dr. R. C. Sproul’s, “Renewing Your Mind.” I enjoy, “Grace To You” from Dr. John MacArthur. Dr. James White of, “Alpha & Omega” ministries is very educational to listen to. I even liked old Charles Stanley, but not his son, who is off the rails into emergent Church land.

  22. Ok, here is another unhinged cult member of the Wommackians… I’m going to post their comment, but an edited version of it. My editorials will be [in brackets like this] inline with their original text.

A false prophet or teacher is some one who DOES NOT teach the new birth, and they teach that there is more then one way to get to heaven. [You’ll note, this Biblically ignorant person has demonstrated they haven’t the foggiest idea of what being a false prophet means. It is quite disturbing. Here is what the test of a prophet according to God’s word,

    Deuteronomy 18:18-22
“18 I will raise up a prophet from among their brothers like you, and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. 19 And it will be that whoever will not listen to My words which he shall speak in My name, I Myself will require it of him. 20 But the prophet who speaks a word presumptuously in My name which I have not commanded him to speak, or which he speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.’ 21 Now you may say in your heart, ‘How will we know the word which Yahweh has not spoken?’ 22 When a prophet speaks in the name of Yahweh, if the thing does not come about or come true, that is the thing which Yahweh has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

    1. He must speak in the name of the Lord, not some other god.

    2. His message must be in accord with God’s revealed truth in Scripture.

    3. His predictions of future events must come true exactly as predicted.

Angels of Deceit, Richard Lee & Ed Hindson, (Harvest House, 1993), pp. 145-6”

A false prophet is a person who says they are speaking something that God told them to speak, and in reality, they are lying to you, or they themselves are mislead, and telling you something they have imagined. The Word of God is clear about what should happen to a false prophet in the Old Testament.]

An example of false teachers would be jehovah witness, new age teaching, mormans, Muslims, and the polygamy cults, and orthodox Jews. to name a few. [You’ll notice, they listed some false works-righteousness cults. They also misspelled, “Mormons” as, “mormans.” These cults were started by false prophets, much like the cult of the Wommackians was started by the false prophet Andrew Wommack.] They don’t teach Jesus and salvation. Just because you don’t agree or like a teaching doesn’t mean they are a false teacher or prophet. [I actually agree with the statement they just made. Those cults don’t teach the Biblical Jesus, nor do they teach the Biblical understanding of salvation in Christ, and how one is justified by Him. They have a false gospel. I also agree that just because you don’t like/agree with a doctrine doesn’t mean it isn’t true. This person should take their own advice.] If they teach Jesus and salvation then they are NOT a false prophet. [Okay, now I have to disagree with them. We went over what a false prophet is in the preceding editorial comments above. You can teach the Biblical Christ, and His gospel, and still make false prophecies, and be condemned as a false prophet. You can also teach heterodox doctrines, and be a false teacher. You can also be a false convert, and not know it. For instance, Ravi Zacharias taught the Biblical view of Christ and His gospel, but at the end, his life, and witness, were wrecked by controversy. He may not have been a false prophet, but he was living a lie. He may well have been a false convert. The person who made this comment on my post is obviously employing the logical fallacy known as a non sequitur. They might have to look that up if they read this post.] Andrew wommack and many other prosperity preachers are legit. [Here, Mr. Clown claims that many prosperity preachers are, “legit.” This would make me laugh if it weren’t so banal, and repulsive. They have turned the gospel of Christ into a get rich quick scheme. The means that God has ordained to bring lost, and dead, sinners to new life in Christ, they have denegrated to base material wealth on Earth were rust, and moth, will destroy it.] Make sure you get your facts straight before calling a man of God a liar!!! [This part is rich lol! I’m not calling a man of God a liar. I’m calling a heretic, a twister of scripture, a false teacher, a false prophet, and false healer, a fraud who is guilty of Pastoral malpractice and disqualified Biblically from the office of elder.] How many people have you raised from the dead?? [I’ve raised from the dead the exact same number of people Wommack has raised from the dead… ZERO!!!] How many Bible collage campuses have you put up debt free?? [Don’t you mean, “How many people did I con out of their life savings to build an homage to my own pride?” The answer would be zero, but Wommack built a school where Koine Greek isn’t even taught. Theology proper, homiletics, hermeneutics, Old and New Testament surveys if taught at all, are taught from his twisted perspective.] How many millions of dollars have you spent to preach the gospel all over the world?? [Again, he has preached a false gospel all over the world, deceiving all sorts of people into believing a lie. I wouldn’t be so quick to brag on him for that Wommackian.] Why in the world do you feel the need to call Andrew a false prophet and liar when he clearly is doing things you would never be willing to do like spending millions on traveling the world debt free and put bible colleges up that are debt free. It’s takes faith. And revaluation from the holy spirit. Clearly something you don’t have. DONT EVER CRITIZE SOMEONE HARVEST IF YOU DONT KNOW THERE SEED- Credlo Dollar. Jesse Duplantis said prosperity prechers are going to be teaching faith in beaven, so please be careful who you call a liar and false prophet. [This last section is mostly nonsensical babel, and doesn’t require any further treatment. It looks like they couldn’t keep their thoughts together any longer and lost it towards the end.]

Thus, concludes our most recent attack from a Wommackian cult member. Remember kids, friends don’t let friends do theology on, “word-of-faith, prosperity-pseudo-gospel” heresy.

  23. Andrew and his christian school have brought back to life many people! Those against Andrew answer this question: how many have you brought back from the dead? Your just jealous because you cannot do all the things Andrew does and you do not have the intimate connection with God as he does.

      1. What a sorry lot we are. It really saddens my heart to read some of the venom and animosity dished out amongst brothers and sister in Christ.
I support the views of Bob regarding Andrew Womack and his false teaching and Bob has every right to warn others about him as scripture demands of us. Paul named names when he warned his fellow Christians for their own protection.
It amazed me that when Bob revealed that he believed in predestination all hell broke loose and those Womack supporters mocked him and decided that the words of truth that he had spoken were now made invalid!
I know that we all think we are right about everything and can get quite passionate about those beliefs when challenged BUT only God knows the ABSOLUTE truth as he happens to be The Way, THE TRUTH and the life, all else is just our opinion. It does concern me that Christians are accusing one another of not having the Holy Spirit dwell in them… please stop doing that as it cannot possibly please God!
I can fully understand why people follow Andrew Womack’s theology and the rest of those preaching the health and wealth false gospel as it appeals to their flesh not their spirit. Many of Jesus followers turned away from him because they couldn’t take the hard teachings of His true gospel… it’s not easy and narrow is the path.
I pray for discernment in the Churches, I pray that eyes will be opened to the TRUE gospel of Jesus Christ and that Christians will come out from this dangerous teaching that is man centred and not Hod centred.
Please stop calling Bob, jealous, nasty, in need of repentance etc etc, He is only doing what God commands of all of us… may the blood not be on his head!
        Amen!
